KD SCHMID expands its international team with the appointment of Naomi Ives

We are excited to share that Naomi Ives joins KD SCHMID as Director from January 2024. 

Naomi comes to KD SCHMID from IMG Artists where she was Executive Vice President, Global Head of Conductors and Instrumentalists for 13 years bringing a wealth of experience in artist management to KD SCHMID. Based in KD SCHMID’s London office, Naomi joins the team of Directors to further develop the company’s artist management activities.

Naomi Ives’ appointment follows other recent key additions at KD SCHMID, including Christoph Drescher as Managing Director in December 2023 and Huw Humphreys, who assumed the role of Senior Creative Director in November 2023.

Naomi Ives graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2000 and began working in the music industry in 2002 as an assistant at IMG Artists. She later served as a Sponsorship Manager at RSNO in Scotland and held the role of Company Manager at Scottish Opera for five years. In 2010, Naomi returned to London and rejoined IMG Artists as an Artist Manager, eventually becoming Executive Vice President, Global Head of Conductors and Instrumentalists.
