KD Schmid's Special Attractions bring together very different artists and ensembles who share a common vision: To rethink and present classical music. The resulting innovative concert formats with unique genre combinations, interactive programmes and multimedia presentations are designed to appeal to established audiences and classical music lovers as well as to new and younger audiences.
In recent years, we have continued to expand our focus on Special Attractions. The aim is to attract exciting international projects and increasingly to develop new formats ourselves. To build a bridge between tradition and innovation, we incorporate modern elements such as visual effects and contemporary art, breaking down barriers and creating a captivating atmosphere in concert halls. Our Special Attractions open up an exciting dialogue about the future of live music, showcase different formats and make classical music accessible to a global and diverse audience.
