From our offices in Hanover, London and Berlin, we have established an international network over the last few decades that guarantees our artists and orchestras comprehensive and individual support worldwide. Through personal commitment, our team ensures that each artist can develop at the highest professional level.
Since the founding of the Konzertdirektion in 1959, Hans Ulrich Schmid has been the headquarters of the company in Hanover. With 30 employees, the office in the capital of Lower Saxony is the largest of the three company locations. Since 2002 KD SCHMID has been residing in its own house at Königstrasse 36.
From Hannover we organize international tours for the world's leading orchestras and also a significant part of the traditional mediation department is housed here.
Under this roof, we also coordinate the activities of the Concert Directorate in the field of orchestral tours, artist education and PR and ensure that there is optimal networking and communication between the individual offices.
KD SCHMID London was founded by Managing Director Karen McDonald in 1998 in order to consolidate and expand the presence of KD SCHMID internationally.
Over the years, the office’s size and reputation have steadily grown, establishing KD SCHMID London as a prominent address for exclusive boutique artist management. Centrally located in London’s vibrant West End, our dedicated team offers tailor-made artist management to a fine selection of artists.
Additionally, our artists benefit from strong ties with our offices in Hanover and Berlin, building a bridge to our home territories in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The Berlin branch of Konzertdirektion Schmid opened in July 2011 at Charlottenstraße 43 and had its premise at Adalbertstraße 66 in Berlin Kreuzberg for the past 5 years. In February 2023, the artist management team moved into an office in Berlin's City West, Charlottenburg.
