Guido Sant'Anna receives the 2024 LOTTO-Förderpreis by the Rheingau Musik Festival

Rheingau Musik Festival have selected the young Brazilian violinist Guido Sant'Anna as this year's recipient of the LOTTO-Förderpreis, an award given to exceptional emerging talents with the aim to encourage and motivate promising careers. The prize is donated by the Hessian lottery company and is valued at €15,000.

Sant'Anna joins with this award a prestigious list of previous recipients, including Sheku Kanneh-Mason, María Dueñas, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and Tarmo Peltokoski. 

Following his incredible debut at the Rheingau Musik Festival's opening concert in summer 2023 with the hr-Sinfonierochester Frankfurt and Alain Altinoglu, Sant'Anna celebrates his new award by returning to the festival on 27 June with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen in Tchaikovsky's thrilling violin concerto.
