Clemens Schuldt conducts Tapiola Sinfonietta: Featuring Wennäkoski and Brahms

Conductor Clemens Schuldt leads the Tapiola Sinfonietta in two impressive concerts on November 7th at 19:00 pm and November 8th at 17:00 pm at the Espoo Cultural Centre’s Tapiola Hall in Finland. The programme opens with Lotta Wennäkoski's 'Verdigris' (2015), a layered contemporary piece for chamber orchestra that highlights Finland's rich musical innovation.

On the first evening, mezzo-soprano Anna Stéphany will perform Zemlinsky's 'Seven Songs of Night and Dream', arranged by Hauke Berheide, followed by Brahms' radiant Symphony No. 2 in D major, op. 73. The second evening’s program includes Wennäkoski’s work and Brahms' symphony, blending modern and classical compositions.

These concerts offer a unique combination of Wennäkoski’s modern soundscapes and Brahms' timeless melodies, guided by Schuldt's interpretive expertise. Tickets are available on the Tapiola Sinfonietta website.
