Thomas Hampson with Benefit Concert at the Berlin Philharmonie

Thomas Hampson, who has recently been named one of the most famous American singers by the BBC Music Magazine, will participate in a benefit concert at the Berlin Philharmonie on Wednesday, 20 December 2023 at 16:00pm.

Under the title “Together for Humanity”, the Berlin Philharmoniker together with Kirill Petrenko and musicians such Martha Argerich, Anna Prohaska, Steven Isserlis, Stefan Dohr and Christian Tetzlaff are coming together in an appeal to call for the immediate release of all Israeli hostages, and for the protection of the Palestinian and Israeli civilian population.

During the concert Thomas Hampson will perform, together with Kirill Gerstein, Mahler’s “Lied des Verfolgten im Turm”. The proceeds will benefit the families of the hostages as well as two peace organisations in Israel and Palestine. Tickets can be booked here.
