Today marks the start of a three-week long musical voyage through Asia for exciting young pianist Seong-Jin Cho. The tour begins in his home country of South Korea and includes six cities across four different countries performing with two of the world’s top orchestras as well as in a series of recitals.
In South Korea’s capital of Seoul, Cho will first perform with the Berliner Philharmoniker under the baton of inspiring conductor Kirill Petrenko before joining the world-renowned Gewandhausorchester Leipzig and conductor Andris Nelsons once again as part of their own tour of Asia this winter. With the latter, Cho will also appear in Daegu, before heading to Tokyo’s Suntory Hall.
