Saxophonist Steven Banks debuts with the National Symphony Orchestra Washington

Saxophonist Steven Banks makes his much anticipated debut on Thursday 11. April with the National Symphony Orchestra Washington and Zhang Xian. Further concerts will take place on 12 and 13 April. 

Steven will perform 'Diaspora' by Grammy award winning composer Billy Childs. The saxophone concert explores aspects of the African American experience taking inspiration from poetry by Maya Angelou, Claude McKay and Nayyirah Waheed.
