Michael Francis makes his debut with the NDR Radiophilharmonie

Michael Francis is set to make his debut with the NDR Radiophilharmonie with concerts in Hanover and Braunschweig. He will conduct the family concert "Orchester-Detektive" in Hanover on 24 November alongside moderator Malte Arkona, the "Meisterkonzert" in Braunschweig on Saturday with pianist Kit Armstrong then will return to Hanover on 26 November for the "Klassik Extra 1" concert. The programme includes works by Kodaly, Dvorak, Brahms and Rachmaninov.

The concerts in Hanover will take place on Friday at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 11.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the NDR Landesfunkhaus. The concert on Saturday at the Braunschweig Theatre starts at 6 p.m.

Michael Francis can be heard live with the orchestra on Thursday in the radio programme "Starke Stücke" on NDR Kultur and in the streaming of "Orchester-Detektive".
