Jaemin Han debuts with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra

Tonight, Friday 24 November, Jaemin Han appears in the Netherlands for the first time to mark his debut with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Alexandre Bloch, stepping in for Daniel Müller-Schott.

In a programme dedicated to Antonín Dvořák, Han performs the composer's famous cello concerto, with which he debuted earlier this year in the UK during the Edinburgh International Festival. Following the concert at Rotterdam's De Doelen, on Saturday 25 November Han will also make his Belgian debut with the orchestra on tour at Concertgebouw Brugge.

Straight after his engagements with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Han returns to the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra for subscription concerts on 30 November and 1 December, under the direction of Jaap van Zweden. Along with violinist Donghyun Kim and pianist Suyeon Kim the trio will perform Beethoven's Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano, Op. 56.
