Highlights of the concert season with Christian Tetzlaff: A week of festivals of sound

This week, Christian Tetzlaff opens his festival season with a series of impressive performances. The respected violinist will be present on the stages of several renowned festivals.

On 17 August, Christian Tetzlaff will join the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester for an unforgettable evening at the renowned Lucerne Festival, where he will perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto. On 20 August, another highlight follows when Tetzlaff performs with the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Elgar Violin Concerto in the idyllic setting of Grafenegg. On 21 August, Christian Tetzlaff will also perform Elgar at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival.

The highlight of this extraordinary festival series will be reached on 24 August, when Christian Tetzlaff will take to the stage of the Royal Albert Hall in London with the renowned BBC Symphony Orchestra to perform Elgar's Violin Concerto once again. This outstanding Proms concert will be broadcast live on BBC Radio, giving music lovers worldwide the opportunity to experience this special moment live.
