Conductor Luka Hauser joins the KD SCHMID Fellowship Scheme

KD SCHMID is delighted to welcome 25-year-old German-Spanish conductor Luka Hauser to its Fellowship Scheme. Luka will be the third artist to join the scheme since its inception a year ago, following the signing of conductor Anna Handler and violinist Guido Sant'Anna. With their expertise and commitment, our management team look forward to accompanying Luka on this exciting musical journey, providing guidance, support and performance opportunities as he embarks on his early professional career.

Managing Director Karen McDonald says: "We are delighted that Luka Hauser has joined the KD SCHMID family as our newest Fellow. With the support of the KD SCHMID team, we cannot wait to see Luka thrive. Welcome dear Luka!"

Luka is the newly appointed Kapellmeister and Assistant Conductor to Cornelius Meister at the Staatsoper Stuttgart. In this capacity, he will conduct several performances of opera productions among other projects. Following recent debuts with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Symphonieorchester Liechtenstein, Luka will also make his debut with the Nürnberger Symphoniker this season and will assist with a production of Rusalka at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.

"It is with great pleasure that I look forward to working with the excellent team of KD SCHMID in the future. The close exchange of ideas and professional advice are of great importance for my further artistic development. In particular, I am looking forward to many inspiring encounters with the artists at KD SCHMID and the opportunity to learn a lot from these experiences.  I'd like to say a big 'thank you' to the entire KD SCHMID family for their support!” Luka Hauser
