Dima Slobodeniouk: Debut with the Bayerische Staatsoper

Tonight at 6:00pm, Dima Slobodeniouk conducts the Bayerische Staatsoper for the first time in Modest Mussorgsky's opera "Boris Godunov". 

Modest Mussorgsky created his only completed opera, "Boris Godunov", between 1868 and 1873 in Russia. This opera is widely celebrated as his masterpiece. As an artist deeply rooted in the mentality of the 19th century, Mussorgsky was profoundly influenced by the collective psychology of the masses.
