Cornelius Meister to conduct Rusalka at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia

We are delighted of the forthcoming opera debut of Cornelius Meister at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.

Cornelius Meister will conduct the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, founded by Lorin Maazel in 2006, in a new production of Dvorak's Rusalka, directed by Christof Loy which premieres on 30 January. The principal roles will be performed by soprano Olesya Golovneva, tenor Adam Smith and bass Maxim Kuzmin-Karavaev.

Further performances will take place on 3, 6, 9 and 11 February.
