Tour Dates: Bruce Liu and Alain Altinoglu with the hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt in Japan

KD SCHMID artists pianist Bruce Liu and conductor Alain Altinoglu will perform with the hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt in Japan this October. Bruce Liu, winner of the International Chopin Competition, will play Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the 'Emperor Concerto', under the baton of Alain Altinoglu. The concerts will take place in prestigious venues such as Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Symphony Hall in Osaka, and Aichi Arts Center in Nagoya.

The tour’s programmes will vary depending on the promoter and will include works by Mahler, Beethoven, Wagner, Ravel, and Brahms. Alongside Beethoven’s Piano Concerto, Wagner’s 'Overture to Die Meistersinger' von Nürnberg and Mussorgsky’s 'Pictures at an Exhibition', orchestrated by Ravel, will also be performed.
