Anna Rakitina makes her London debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican

On 17th May, Anna Rakitina will make her much anticipated London debut. The all Russian programme features Gubaidulina, Rachmaninov Rhapsode on a Theme of Paganini with Lise de la Salle and Tchaikovsky Symphony no.4.

Anna Rakitina is one of the most sought after conductors of her generation. Admired for her lyrical interpretations of large scale symphonic works, Anna is working with orchestras such as Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, Tonkünstler-Orchestra Vienna, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and many others.

Upcoming highlights include Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Dresdner Philharmonie, Staatskapelle Dresden, Tanglewood Festival, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony.
