Anna Rakitina conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra

Anna Rakitina conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) at Tanglewood this weekend. Tonight, they will present Shostakovich's "Waltz No. 2 from Suite No. 1" and Symphony No. 3", Unsuk Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor" and Antonín Dvořák's Great Violin Concerto along with guest soloist Gil Shaham. Anna Rakitina has been the BSO's Assistant Conductor since September 2019.
