Andris Nelsons and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig release complete Bruckner Symphonies

Finishing a seven-year recording project, Andris Nelsons and his Gewandhausorchester Leipzig today release the complete box set of Anton Bruckner's symphonies with Deutsche Grammophon. Following individual releases of Bruckner's symphonies, the box set is completed by Nelsons and the GHO's latest recording of his Symphony in D minor, often nicknamed Symphony No. 0.

In this process, the symphonies were uniquely combined with orchestral works by Wagner. The idea behind it was evident to Nelsons, as Bruckner himself deeply admired Wagner and engaged extensively with his music.

Out now on all platforms.
