Alexandra Dariescu opens BBC Symphony Orchestra's 2023/24 season

Pianist Alexandra Dariescu joins the BBC Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its Chief Conductor Sakari Oramo for the season opening concert at the Barbican Centre. The event marks the UK premiere of Dora Pejačević's Phantasie Concertante for Piano and Orchestra in D Minor, Op. 48, in honour of the composer's 100th anniversary since her death.

The concert takes places on Friday 6 October 7:30 pm and is broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
