KD SCHMID is delighted to welcome pianist Vsevolod Zavidov to our roster for worldwide general management.
Born in Moscow in 2005, Zavidov is regarded as one of the most promising young talents of the storied Russian piano tradition. The 20-year-old pianist, now based in Geneva, recently gained international recognition as the winner of the 2025 Prix UBS Jeunes Solistes.
Celebrated as a child prodigy early on, Zavidov made his debut at the age of eight in the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Just two years later, he debuted at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York. Concert tours have since taken him across Russia, Europe, North America, and Japan.
As a soloist, Zavidov has appeared at festivals such as Stars of the White Nights, the Mariinsky International Piano Festival, and the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron.
Highlights of the upcoming 2025 season include his debut at the Lucerne Festival, recitals in La Roque d’Anthéron and Monte Carlo, as well as performances of Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini at the Stadtcasino Basel.
Karen McDonald, Managing Director: “Vsevolod is an exceptionally gifted and engaging musician. It has been a great pleasure to get to know him and he has enormous artistic potential. KD SCHMID are thrilled to represent him, and we look forward to the journey ahead together. Welcome Vsevolod!”
