On September 27, 28 & 29, Seong-Jin Cho joins The Philadelphia Orchestra for their highly anticipated season-opening weekend, marking a stellar collaboration under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The opening concerts will showcase a powerful programme with Cho taking centre stage for Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 which will be followed by Bruckner's monumental Seventh Symphony.
Cho, known for his masterful interpretations of classical repertoire, has previously garnered high praise for his rendition of this work, with critics noting his ability to strike a delicate balance between intimacy and grandeur.
The concerts take place at in Kimmel-Center’s Marian Anderson Hall.
