“Preludes” – Jan Lisiecki’s New Album Out Now

Jan Lisiecki’s latest album, “Preludes”, is now available digitally, on CD, and on vinyl. In his tenth recording for Deutsche Grammophon, the pianist delves into the rich diversity of the prelude, bringing together works by composers from different periods. 

At the core of the album are Frédéric Chopin’s 24 Préludes, Op. 28, which Lisiecki interweaves with selected preludes by Bach, Messiaen, Rachmaninoff, and Górecki. The recording traces the development and expressive range of the form, offering insight into its varied interpretations across centuries.
