KD SCHMID December Tours: Mozarteumorchester Salzburg and Orchestre de chambre de Paris

This December, KD SCHMID proudly presents two exceptional tours featuring renowned orchestras and distinguished soloists in some of Germany’s most prestigious concert halls. The diverse programs promise captivating performances and a variety of musical highlights:

Mozarteumorchester Salzburg with Augustin Hadelich and Albrecht Mayer

Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, led by its principal guest conductor Andrew Manze, showcases its distinctive sound in a program spanning Wagner, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schumann. Augustin Hadelich, one of the preeminent violinists of our time, brings his refined and expressive artistry to Mozart’s violin concertos. Albrecht Mayer, perhaps the most accomplished oboist of our times, is heard with the reconstructed Oboe Concerto KV 293, a rarely performed gem.

Orchestre de chambre de Paris with Lucienne Renaudin Vary and Deborah Nemtanu

Orchestre de chambre de Paris, under the direction of violinist Deborah Nemtanu, presents a program ranging from Mozart’s "Paris" Symphony to enchanting arrangements of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and other works. Lucienne Renaudin Vary, 2021 Opus Klassik Young Artist of the Year, adds festive brilliance with her performance of Johann Nepomuk Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto. The Paris Chamber Orchestra once again demonstrates why it is recognized as one of Europe’s finest ensembles.
