With quiet gratitude, we bid farewell to Alfred Brendel – one of the most significant pianists of his generation, a formative teacher, writer and a perceptive musical mind whose thinking and influence extended far beyond the concert hall.

The connection between Alfred Brendel and KD SCHMID dates back to the early years of our agency.

I personally recall many encounters with Alfred Brendel, most recently in connection with his many piano recitals at Pro Musica in Hanover, which left a lasting impression on me.
