Alexandra Dariescu: New Album Highlights Clara Schumann and Grieg

The renowned pianist Alexandra Dariescu presents her new album today under the Signum label, featuring Clara Schumann's Concerto in A minor Op. 7 and Grieg's Concerto in A minor Op. 16. 

Dariescu, known for her innovative approach and commitment to gender equality, continues to emphasise balanced programming. By recording Schumann's youthful, virtuosic work, she shines a light on the often-overlooked brilliance of female composers, once again demonstrating her dedication to diversity and inclusion in classical music.

The album was recorded with the Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Tianyi Lu. It is available on Signum Classics and can be streamed on all platforms.
