Adrien Perruchon conducts Orchestre Lamoureux in two special concerts

Conductor Adrien Perruchon will lead the Orchestre Lamoureux in two special concerts this October. The first concert will take place on 5 October at the Festival de Laon in the historic Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Laon, followed by a second performance on 6 October at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt.

The program includes Dukas’ 'Polyeucte: Ouverture for orchestra', Massenet’s 'Suite from the Ballet of "Le Cid"', and Bizet’s 'Carmen Suite No. 1', alongside the world premiere of Alsuyet’s contemporary composition 'Le messager de la nuit', inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Night Flight. The 5 October concert will conclude with Fauré’s 'Pelléas et Mélisande Suite', while Bonis’ "Ophélie" will be performed on 6 October. Both evenings will feature cellist Sebastien Hurtaud as the soloist.
