WANDERER emerged in 2021 from the encounter between extraordinary singer Nils Wanderer and producer Frithjof Rödel, guitarist of the electronic band Northern Lite. What began as a meeting of two artistic worlds soon became a mission: to break boundaries without compromise - musical, cultural, and emotional. Joined by the percussion duo Vanessa Porter and Emil Kuyumcuyan, the performance extends into a four-artist constellation expanding the sonic palette even further.

At the heart of WANDERER is Nils Wanderer, a queer and mystical voice that defies categorization. Internationally acclaimed as a specialist in Baroque music, he has graced the most prestigious opera stages around the world. In WANDERER, his voice becomes something entirely new: a raw and haunting presence that fuses classical mastery with contemporary intensity. Together they provide the sonic architecture - dark electronic landscapes shaped by analog synths, heavy textures, and driving rhythms. The result is a sound both futuristic and timeless, a world where opera collides with club culture, and vulnerability meets power. With WANDERER, boundaries dissolve: between genres, traditions, and identities. The music is a journey into the shadows, always guided by emotion, always reaching for transcendence.
