A global success story
Since its premiere at London’s Barbican Centre in 2017, "The Nutcracker and I" has won international acclaim, touring across Europe, Australia, China, the Emirates and the US, with more than 100 performances. It has been seen at leading venues and festivals worldwide, including the Wiener Konzerthaus, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, the Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts, La Seine Musicale, Verbier Festival, Konserthuset Gothenburg, Melbourne & Sydney City Recital Halls, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Opéra de Dijon, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Dubai Opera House, Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Athens’ Megaron Concert Hall and the Macao International Music Festival.
"The Nutcracker and I" has reached more than 75,000 people worldwide through live performances and an audiobook. In 2019, the project was shortlisted for one of the most prestigious German awards, the Opus Klassik, as one of nine nominees among works by Daniel Barenboim, Lang Lang and Anne-Sophie Mutter.
