Simone Lamsma joins KD SCHMID

KD SCHMID is excited to welcome violinist Simone Lamsma for General Management. The outstanding Dutch violinist has built an exceptional international career, performing with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Symphony, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and hr-Sinfonieorchester.

Simone Lamsma performs regularly with leading orchestras including Royal Concertgebouw Orkest or Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and works with conductors such as Jaap van Zweden, Andris Poga, Karina Canellakis or Gianandrea Noseda.

In the 2025/26 season, she returns to the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Rotterdam Philharmonic, RAI Torino and Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and makes debut appearances with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Seattle Symphony. Recital performances bring her to Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall, among others.

This summer sees her return to New York’s Lincoln Center and Cleveland Orchestras, as well as mark her BBC Proms debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
