KD SCHMID welcomes Leo Hussain

KD SCHMID is pleased to welcome conductor Leo Hussain for General Management.
Leo Hussain is a distinguished interpreter of a wide-ranging repertoire and has received critical acclaim for his performances of Mozart, the Second Viennese School, and major 20th-century works. He is Chief Conductor of the George Enescu Philharmonic and regularly collaborates with leading orchestras and opera houses internationally.

During the 2025/26 season, Leo Hussain returned to the Semperoper Dresden, Oper Frankfurt and appeared at the New National Theatre Tokyo as well as Teatro Real Madrid. Upcoming engagements include performances of “Carmen” at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse and a concert at the Salzburger Festspiele.
