Alexander Malofeev joins KD SCHMID US for North American Management.

KD SCHMID US is excited to welcome Alexander Malofeev
for North American Management.
In 2014, at the age of 13, Malofeev won the International Tchaikovsky
Competition for Young Musicians, quickly establishing himself as one of the
most remarkable pianists of his generation. Since his promising debut,
Alexander has performed with many of the world’s leading orchestras, including
the Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles
Philharmonic, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Filarmonica
della Scala, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, and the Rotterdam Philharmonic
Orchestra. He collaborates regularly with some of the most renowned conductors
of our time, such as Riccardo Chailly, Myung-Whun Chung, Susanna Mälkki,
Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Alain Altinoglu, Lionel Bringuier, Hannu Lintu, Vasily
Petrenko, Fabio Luisi, Juraj Valcuha, Lahav Shani, Petr Popelka, and Kazuki
Yamada, among others.
Highlights of the 2025/26 season include a return to the Aspen Music Festival
as well as performances with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, London
Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Symphony, and solo recitals in Europe and the
US. In addition to a duo tour with violinist María Dueñas, he appears at the
inaugural Verbier Festival in Shenzhen with renowned cellist Gautier Capuçon,
as well as in recital and as a soloist with the Verbier Festival Chamber
Orchestra under the direction of conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy.
