John Storgårds announced as Music Director of the National Arts Centre Orchestra from 2026/27
Conductor John Storgårds has been announced as the new Music Director of the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, Canada starting from the 2026/27 season

He debuted with the orchestra in 2013 and has been Principal Guest Conductor since 2015.
In his work with the orchestra, John Storgårds is passionate about developing the next generation of musicians, strengthening the NAC Orchestra's role in advocation for Canadian artists and developing a diverse repertoire.
