Clemens Schuldt: Season Opening in Quebec and debut with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

Exciting weeks ahead for  Clemens Schuldt in Canada. 

First, he opens a new season as Music Director of the Orchestre symphonique de Québec this week. On Wednesday 16 September he presents Shostakovich's Festive Overture and Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra alongside Beethoven's Violin Concerto, with soloist Vadim Gluzman. A shortened version of the programme follows on 17 September.

In early October, on the 9th and 10th, he makes his debut with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra across two concerts. Joined by Augustin Hadelich , he presents Brahms's Violin Concerto in a programme that also features Dvořák's Symphony No. 6 and Canadian composer John Estacio's "Frenergy".
