Jonathan Biss with the Boston Symphony Orchestra

Pianist Jonathan Biss joins the Boston Symphony Orchestra this week under the baton of Xian Zhang to perform Schumann's lyrical and powerful Piano Concerto.

Schumann composed this piece at the request of his wife Clara, one of the greatest pianists of her time. The concerts will take place on October 17 at 7:30 pm, 18 and 19 at 8:00 pm at Symphony Hall. Join us for a dynamic program featuring both classical and contemporary works.
