Kerem Hasan Returns to Welsh National Opera for The Marriage of Figaro

After a successful opening on 6 February in Cardiff, additional performances are scheduled across the Southwest of England throughout the spring. This engagement marks a full-circle moment in Hasan’s career, which began in Cardiff as Associate Conductor for WNO.

The cast includes Chen Reiss as Countess Almaviva and Christina Gansch as Susanna, in a Tobias Richter production with set design by Ralph Koltai.

Between performances with WNO,  Kerem Hasan will travel to Australia to conduct the Australian Youth Orchestra, with a program featuring Richard Strauss's Ein Heldenleben. In March, he conduct the Orchestre symphonique de Québec.
