David Afkham conducts Fidelio at the Semperoper Dresden

Following the success of Strauss's Arabella last year and the symphonic concerts with the Staatskapelle Dresden in January this year, David Afkham returns to the Dresden Staatskapelle and the Semperoper with a production of Beethoven's Fidelio.

This production is directed by Christine Mielitz, and had its premiere on 7 October 1989.
