Anna Rakitina and Augustin Hadelich Perform Works by Tchaikovsky

The energetic, young conductor Anna Rakitina returns to the Malmö Symphony Orchestra for a festive concert. On December 19, she will lead a captivating program featuring two flute concertos by Vivaldi, Wilhelm Stenhammar’s evocative piece Midvinter, and Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker Suite—a timeless seasonal favorite.

On December 25 and in two additional performances on December 26, Anna Rakitina will, conduct her debut with the Dresden Philharmonic at the Kulturpalast. However, in the hands of Augustin Hadelich, this year’s Artist in Residence with the Dresden Philharmonic, the concerto finds its ideal interpreter.
