Izabelė Jankauskaitė Debuts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra

Young conductor Izabelė Jankauskaitė will make her highly anticipated Swedish debut this week, leading the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in the educational project 'Baltic, the Environmental Robot'. The project, which aims to raise environmental awareness among children, will feature works by Baltic Sea composers such as Nielsen, Tchaikovsky, and Sumera. The concerts will take place at Stockholm's iconic Konserthuset and include several performances designed for school audiences.

Jankauskaitė will conduct the orchestra in performances that inspire children to think about the environment through music. The interactive concerts, blending both artistic and environmental education, highlight the importance of protecting the Baltic Sea and the natural world.
