China Tour with Pianist Fazıl Say

Pianist Fazıl Say embarks on his concert tour through China, performing in six prestigious venues across the country. The tour begins on September 20 at 19:3pm in Guangzhou's Xinghai Concert Hall, with further performances in Chengdu, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shanghai, and Beijing.

The programme on September 20 includes Bach's 'Chaconne in D minor' arranged by Feruccio Busoni, Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 17 in D minor ('The Tempest'), as well as several of Fazıl Say's own works, such as his 'Piano Sonata Op. 99, 4 Ballads', and the popular piece 'Kara Toprak' (Black Earth).

On subsequent evenings (21.09.-28.09.), Say will also perform Bach's 'Goldberg Variations', followed by his own compositions.
