At Sunday night's GRAMMY Awards, Andris Nelsons received the award for "Best Orchestral Performance" for his recording of Messiaen's "Turangalîla-Symphonie" with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and soloists Yuja Wang and Cecile Lartigau.

Nelsons and the BSO also won a GRAMMY in the "Best Classical Instrumental Solo" category, for their recording of Shostakovich's Cello Concertos with legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma, which formed part of Nelsons and the BSO's complete Shostakovich box set released by Deutsche Grammophon in 2025.

These two awards build on Andris Nelsons' previous GRAMMY successes with the BSO in 2016, 2017, and 2019, all for the landmark recordings of symphonies by Shostakovich.
