Violinist Christian Tetzlaff, Artist in Residence of the Kammerakademie Potsdam, opens his residency with an extraordinary concert on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 8:00pm at the Nikolaisaal Potsdam. The programme features rarely performed works by Haydn and Sibelius, including Haydn's A major Violin Concerto and Sibelius' 'Humoresques', which captivate with their Nordic soundscapes.

In addition to Sibelius' Suite in B major for Violin and Strings, Tetzlaff will also lead on Haydn's Symphony No. 80 in D minor, a powerful and stormy work that he describes as 'wild and beautiful.'

Look forward to an evening filled with beautiful music.
