Press
"The prize undoubtedly goes to Orchestre symphonique de la Monnaie, whose total stylistic adequacy is equalled only by the instrumental involvement of all the sections; one can obviously count on the energetic and theatrical direction of Alain Altinoglu to magnify the ensemble and hold, not without humour, the stage."
ResMusica, Benedict Hévry, 24.02.2021
"What a nervous brilliance and yet a naturally floating lightness of the lush orchestra! What an outstanding plasticity of metrical richness and impulses coming from the depth of the score! What a culture of sound, especially among the wind soloists!"
Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Markus Schwering, 26.03.2019
"In a concert of extraordinary sophistication, dynamic daring, brilliant transparency and supple phrasing from the London Symphony Orchestra and the French conductor Alain Altinoglu"
Anna Picard, The Times, 27.03.2017
"Altinoglu led the suite with energy and surgical precision, and The Cleveland Orchestra infused the piece with dazzling color. The audience response was rapturous."
Daniel Hathaway, Cleveland Classical, 17.10.2016
