Orchestras
International tour support & strategic consulting for orchestras
Drawing on over six decades of experience, KD SCHMID plans and manages international tours for many of the world’s most renowned orchestras. KD SCHMID combines perceptive strategic planning, outstanding touring logistics and a unique international network to allow orchestras and their music directors to project their artistic identity on the world stage.
In autumn 2025, KD SCHMID and the Vienna-based Dr. Raab & Dr. Böhm have announced to join forces, forming SCHMID RAAB & BOEHM (SRB), Europe’s leading agency for orchestral touring. The new merger will commence the joint planning for the 2027/28 season. Together, we have taken the next step to expand our role from tour organisers to strategic partners.
