KD SCHMID opened its Berlin office in July 2011 at Charlottenstraße 43. After relocating to new premises in the City West in 2023, the company has been based at Hardenbergstrasse 9A in Berlin-Charlottenburg since September 2024.
With the transfer of the German head office from Hanover to Berlin in 2024, the orchestra touring activities were also established here. From the 2027/28 season, they will be overseen by the sister agency SCHMID RAAB & BOEHM, which will be located in the same office.
Alongside the representation of internationally renowned artists, the agency is dedicated to supporting the long-term development of promising young talent.

In 2024, KD SCHMID proudly extended the global network with the opening of our office in New York City. This expansion marked a significant milestone for KD SCHMID.

A strategic partnership with Konzertdirektion Dr. Rudolf Goette in Hamburg which has existed since 2013, established through the long-standing connections between the Funke and Schmid families and Burkhard Glashoff in his role as Managing Director at Goette.
DK Deutsche Klassik GmbH is the result of the merger of some of Germany's most established owner-managed concert series and artist agencies.
