Yefim Bronfman to Perform Elena Firsova's New Piano Concerto

Yefim Bronfman will be performing Elena Firsova's new piano concerto with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Munich on April 27th and 28th, under the direction of Pablo Heras-Casado. The concert will also feature Ligeti's Lontano and Stravinsky's ballet music L'oiseau de feu.

The piano concerto had its premiere in Amsterdam in 2020 and recently received its German debut in Berlin with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester under the direction of Vladimir Jurowski, with Yefim Bronfman on piano.

The concerts will be held at Herkulessaal, starting at 8 pm, with the performance on April 28th being broadcast live by BR Klassik.
