Seong-Jin Cho: Summer Concerts at the Festival International de Piano and Edinburgh International Festival

Following a successful recital at Gstaad Menuhin Festival earlier this month, August sees Seong-Jin Cho perform two further recitals in France and the UK. On 17th August, he returns to the 44th Festival International de Piano de La Roque d'Anthéron to perform a programme combining an elegant tapestry of Ravel's Menuet Antique, Sonatine, Valses nobles et sentimentales, and Gaspard de la nuit, as well as Liszt's Années de pèlerinage, 2ème année (Italie).

Then Cho returns to the Edinburgh International Festival on 19th August, where he last performed in 2022. He will appear at the Scottish capital’s Queen’s Hall with a similar programme, contrasting Ravel’s Menuet Antique, his poignant but virtuosic Sonatine, and his sophisticated waltz collection of Valses nobles et sentimentales, with the second of Liszt’s Années de pèlerinage.
