Seong-Jin Cho: European solo recital tour

Last night marked the start of pianist Seong-Jin Cho’s European solo recital tour. Following an excellent musical soirée in Ludwigsburg yesterday, the young musician will now tour five countries across Europe bringing his solo recital programme to nine European cities, including the spectacular Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and the Swiss city of Lucerne.

The South Korean pianist will now travel on to the French capital, Paris before returning to central Europe to Essen and La-Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. Porto will be next followed by Lucerne, and Frankfurt. In the final leg, Cho will travel to Spain, making appearances in Madrid and Bilbao.

The inspiring recital programme transports the audience to every corner of Europe with the Polish composer Chopin’s Polonaise opus 44., the French Ravel’s Menuet sur le nom de Haydn and Le Tombeau de Couperin, Austria’s Joseph Hadyn’s Piano Sonata in E minor, Hob.
