Seong-Jin Cho returns to the Czech Philharmonic with world premiere of Thierry Escaich’s Symphonic Etudes

Pianist Seong-Jin Cho is returning to the Czech Philharmonic this week to play the world premiere of Escaich Symphonic Etudes for piano and orchestra, conducted by Semyon Bychkov. Three concerts will take place on 16, 17 and 18 March 2023 at the Rudolfinum in Prague.

A special highlight, Seong-Jin Cho, Semyon Bychkov and the Czech Philharmonic will go on tour with the piano concerto performing in Budapest on 31 March and Zagreb on 1 April 2023. 

The new piece is a cycle of four studies integrating various forms of dialogue between the soloist and the orchestra.
