Seong-Jin Cho with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden

Seong-Jin Cho returns tonight to Festspielhaus Baden-Baden to perform once again with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe (COE) and conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Cho’s remarkable tone is well-known in Germany’s largest opera and concert houses, where he has played several times including an appearance under Nézet-Séguin’s baton with COE in the 2022 Summer Festival performing Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1.

This evening Cho will play two of Beethoven’s concertos: the lyrical fourth and the jovial fifth which is also known as “Kaiserkonzert” or “Emperor’s Concerto”. Franz Schubert’s Symphony in B minor “Unfinished” will be the interlude between Beethoven’s concertos.
