Salzburg Festival 2022

We are delighted that Adam Fischer, Andris Nelsons, Yefim Bronfman, Alain Altinoglu, Augustin Hadelich and Fazıl Say will all be performing at this year’s Salzburg Festival.

On 06 and 07 August, the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, led by Adam Fischer, will perform two Mozart matinée concerts. Andris Nelsons will conduct the Wiener Philharmoniker with a programme of Bartók’s Piano Concerto No.2, featuring soloist Yefim Bronfman, and Mahler’s Symphony No.5 on 07 and 08 August. In addition, Yefim Bronfman will also present a solo recital on 10 August, with works by Bartók, Beethoven and Chopin.

On 13 and 14 August, Augustin Hadelich will perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg. Fazıl Say will perform in recital with Patricia Kopatchinskaja on 14 August, featuring a programme of Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, Janáček’s Violin Sonata, Ravel’s Tzigane and Bartók’s Violin Sonata No.1.

Throughout the festival, Alain Altinoglu will conduct the Wiener Philharmoniker in performances of Verdi’s Aida (12, 15, 19, 23, 27, 30 August).
